The hotel was in a great location with lots of options for shopping, sightseeing and restaurants nearby. Â The rooms were nice and comfortable, especially the beds. Â The problems we experienced were with power outages and unprofessional staff. Â The hotel had a power outage the night we checked in. Â The lobby, casino, elevator and hallways had power but the rooms did not. We had to unpack using a flashlight and many guests had their room doors propped open for light and air conditioning. Â The next morning the power was on and stayed on for the next four days. Â However, on our last night, the power went out again. Â It was a big inconvenience, we had to charge our cell phones from an outlet in the hallway. Â The only friendly, helpful staff we encountered all week were the women on the housekeeping staff. Â No one welcomed us at check in, the guy in valet was slumped over his podium as guests came and went. Â We kept expecting to eventually encounter more helpful, friendly staff during our stay, but we did not. The few occasions when we went to the front desk we were ignored until they had no choice but to finally acknowledge us. Â I have stayed in many hotels and I must honestly say, the entire staff at this hotel needs to be re-trained in hospitality. Â
