    I recently stayed at this hotel for a wedding. I was very excited because even though I live in Atlanta, I had never stayed here or been inside. My husband and I stayed two nights, and it was not at all what we expected. I think at some time this hotel was THE place to stay in Atlanta. But not anymore. It's old and run down, with non-working power outlets, clogged tubs, and old, drab curtains and furniture. There is also an OLD smell inside. The front-desk staff was not very friendly, and treated us very poorly. The wedding overall was lovely, and the location of the hotel is perfect. But for the price you're paying to stay in the heart of Atlanta, its not worth your time. I'm sad to write this, but others should know the reality of this hotel.

    We stayed in. 2 bedroom suite with queen beds, sofa, dining table, business desk, 3 TVs, and full kitchen. Lots of room and very comfortable. Convient location directly across from the Fox Theatre, etc. it is in midtown, so you do want to be up on as high a floor as possible for noise reasons. Definitely would stay here again.

    First, I really like this place and have parked or stayed here many times. HOWEVER, I had one of the worst consumer experience of my life here. I was backing into a parking space and I have a backing system that warns me if I'm getting close to objects. So I'm looking in the driver side mirror to ensure I'm staying in the lines. Next thing I know my back window is broken out by a ventilation duct. The object was not barricaded, nor was it detected by my backing system because it was too high. The Georgia Terrace security couldn't have handled the situation better and helped vacuum out the glass. The total damage to my car was around $3,000. I contacted the Georgian Terrace Director of Operations and copied the GM on the email. They were extremely slow to respond, took no accountability, and made no attempt to compensate me in any way for the damages. My impression was that they were scared I was going to file a lawsuit or something. After 2 months of sending emails and leaving phone messages, I was hoping to have some kind of resolution with them. Unfortunately there was little to no response. I'm not an opportunist. I would only like to be treated fair and feel as though I'm being respected and taken care of as a customer, ESPECIALLY in the hospitality industry. Stay away from the Georgian Terrace at any cost. The management does not respect their customers.
