    The internet was on and off and when i call they transfer out to make me sit on phone with a tech. when asked if it is always so slow ...

    The internet was on and off and when I call they transfer out to make me sit on phone with a tech. When asked if it is always so slow that the pages time out before loading they said "oh yeah its slow". Time to upgrade that and their willingness to go above and beyond was limited at best.

    For unfamiliar visitors of L.A., this hotel is in the middle of downtown. This means parking is a hassle if valet service is not wanted. Valet service usually costs $35/night even for hotel guests. The front desk lady had dropped it down to $20/night after me and my friend debated about looking for other parking lots near the hotel. This parking issue had increased our trip costs and was unexpected. We are foreign visitors so we do not have internet access on our smart phones. There is wifi available at the hotel but at the cost of $12.95/night. I had previously lodged in a 3-star hotel and had free wifi available. Wifi would had been helpful to find attractions in LA and keep in contact with friends in our home country. Local calls is not free from the hotel room phone but I forgot what the costs were. If you don't mind these other costs then this hotel is for you. Overall the hotel looks great, but the hallway in front of our room looks normal (picture added).

    The hotel was very nice and clean. We used the pool several days and enjoyed it. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only problem that we had was that we anticipated getting two double beds but ended up with a king and a single. That worked out fine though in the end. It is very conveniently located.

    Stayed here a few times. rooms had a small feel to them. clean rooms with comfortable beds. lots of pillows. expensive on site parking.
