My husband and I stayed at the Westin this past weekend for our anniversary, and we loved it. The hotel was in the perfect location, as we wanted to be able to walk around downtown and take in the city views. Out room was a little smaller than i had hoped and the decor seemed a lil outdated, but it was clean and the bed was very comfy. ( there was also an awesome dual shower head that was an amzing perk) We were on the 25th floor, and the views were spectacular. We ate downstairs for a bite to eat and found the Bonaventure Brewery. The food was good, and the atmosphere was great. However, they seemed a little short staffed, as the bartender was also our server and we were forgotten about a few times. The host on the other hand made a point to come by and say hello and was very friendly- made the experience much better. The next night we went to LA Prime for our anniversary, and it was wonderful! The views were amazing, we had a table at sunset overlooking hollywood. You def pay for the view though, the steaks are great, but come without sides (you order those seperatly) and run about $50 each. But thats to be expected somewhat from a steakhouse such as this. However, my only complaint was the parking sitiuation. I drive a Ford F250, and i was never going to fit under their garages's 6ft limit. ( and even if i do, their fees were quite costly, $36 overnight and an additonal $15 for an oversize vehicle such as mine) The valet directed me to a nearby hotel saying they had parking, but no luck there either. insted we parked 4 blocks away for $5 a day.

We spent a lot of time walking around trying to find the right tower elevator. No signs! No signs on the afternoon buffet either. We were there with the RAVE crowd--which they did all day and all night. Can't you keep we senior citizens and the teenagers separated by towers or floors?
