I would only recommend this hotel if you were on a tight budget.

The check in process was somewhat a struggle since no one was at the front desk. The rooms are set up like military modules. Although each room has there own door, but each room shares a main door with another room (I guess double the security). The rooms have a floor heater that can be adjusted by a wall thermometer. The room were to hot or to cold. The walls and ceiling must be very thin. You could hear everything going on above and adjacent to your room. The beds were standard spring mattresses. Bathrooms were standard. The hotel is in a very good location. Close to the lifts and village. Again, great for a budget trip. No Free Wifi.

Great location but still reasonably priced. Right next to the walking mall, stores and resturants but not on the mall so don't get the constant noise. Short walk to gondola and bus stops to lakes and other parts of Whistler. Underground parking. Room was typical ski condo with interior halls, decent hot tub, not much else. I would definitely go back here because of the convenient location and price.

I stayed at the Powder Lodge. The hotel staff was quaint but I was highly disappointed by the lack of a real bed in the room. I booked a room with a queen size bed (supposedly), but ended up getting a room with two pull out beds (both were uncomfortable and required set-up). I was not offered alternatives. I paid an insanely low price ($*/night) for the room but other hotels were also offering competitive prices with real beds. The room was clean and there was a kitchen. Hallways were dark. Excellent location, within walking distance to most activities. Ok, if you just need a place to crash.

The hotel is right in the village about 5 minutes from the lifts and anything else you'd want...restaurants, shopping, bars, etc. My room was by the elevator and the walls were pretty thin, so the partiers coming in at all hours woke me up pretty regularly, but it wasn't a bad price and it was comfortable. I thought given that the place was in need of updating it was a little much to ask me to pay for internet service rather than including it. I'd stay there again, but would probably look around a bit more next time.

I stayed here and would stay again, however when I booked with a travel website the webiste asid all rooms have kitchens. We ended up in a room without one. It was a decent room and I didn't have any problems with it. It got a little noisy around bar closing time which woke me up, but I fell asleep again quickly. It is in the middle of the village and even staying in other nicer hotels further from the village core I could here the late night partiers. Other reviews made an issue of parking but we had no trouble parking a 1 ton Dodge 4x4 in the underground facility. I would stay again and reccomend it to young adults, and budget minded people. I'll just make sure I get a kitchen next time so I don't have to pay out $* for dinner and $* for breakfast. This facility has more than one building and we stayed in the Powder Lodge building.
