We arrived very early, the hotel found us a room by 9AM. The staff was friendly, courteous and responsive to our requests. Concierge was very knowledgeable and helpful in arranging our tours. I highly recommend the Marriott at County Hall.

Beautiful building and close to everything. Staff was great and very happy to help. The only slight problem I had was that we went from a party of three to a party of four which required us to rent another room and they are not cheap. I raised the issue with the concierge who passed my questions onto reservations. I did not hear from reservations . I had to call back a day or two prior to our trip and whip out the visa for another room. If you go check out the cute french bakery right behind the hotel. Very nice place for breakfast. After a couple days of Starbucks this was a very nice change.

The hotel location is excellent and if you upgrade you can get an excellent view of the Thames River and Big Ben. The London Eye is located right next to the hotel and you can get an excellent view of the entire city. Directly outside the front entrance of the hotel is a tour bus stop. We used Big Bus Tours and received a river tour as part of the package. We were extremely happy with the Big Bus Tour. There are two bus tours for Big Bus, the RED Tour (all the top sites with a live guide) and the BLUE Tour (recorded guide with headphones and a more extensive route reaching some of the outlying locations). With Big Bus tours directly outside of the hotel you can easily access any major location in London and you can get dropped of at a location with subway service (Underground). Ultimately, you cannot beat the location.

My mother and I visited London this past summer and stayed at the Marriott London County Hall. The hotel was situated right across from the Parliament building and Big Ben. We stayed in a standard room and I must say it over exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious very comfortable and clean. At night time and through out the day you could hear a pin drop insided the room to how quiet and peaceful it was. When I layed on my bed it felt as if I was floating on air super comfortable bed and pillows. We could actually look out our window and see the London Eye which sat right outside next to the hotel and the Thames River. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. In other words if you chose this Marriot you cant go wrong. This hotel has it all location quality atmosphere and that old world classic style. When I visit London again I will definitely stay at the Marriot London County Hall. Juan-Miami

Stayed at this hotel for a week, during the month of October. This is a great location! It is very central to all tourist activities and close to the subway. The room was large and very comfortable. We had a view of the river and Big Ben. The room was very quiet and we did not hear Big Ben. The room come swith a 36" TV with lots of channels. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Request a refrigerator in advance (it will cost money), as you will be charged everytime you open the mini bar.
