Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff was friendly, helpful and just went out of their way to make your visit special. The welcome breakfast was a nice touch. The grounds were immaculately clean and manicured with the beach just steps from anywhere in the hotel. Nightly courtyard band and hula show was a great way to unwind. I would definately go again and would tell my friends and family about this little gem.

09/17/2012Highlight of the trip was renting paddleboards by our beach and getting to paddle alongside dolphins. i don't think any hawaii experience will top that.

We went to 3 different islands and stayed in several places, but Kaanapali was by far the nicest and best. We saw and dideverything we planned to do in Hawaii, and we left saying, "If we ever go back to Hawaii, we're going straight to Kaanapali and just spending the whole time on the beach there!" Clean, hospitable, efficient, and highly affordable. It was obvious that it catered to a wealthier class of clients, yet we felt like we belonged even though we would not consider our economic status as being "one of the elite." FANTASTIC!!!

We liked it just fine and it had everything that we needed except a computer that guests could use. Our waiter at breakfast was very nice and so were the maids. The hotel seemed very hawaiian. The hotel was clearly dated but kept up fine. I would probably stay there again when in Kaanapali.
