    Upon arrival, we were told there were no rooms available with two queen beds for our troupe of 4, but a third floor unit with two double beds was available ...

    Upon arrival, we were told there were no rooms available with two queen beds for our troupe of 4, but a third floor unit with two double beds was available and we would be moved to the correct room with a view the next day. Unfortunately, the desk neglected to tell us there was no elevator in the available wing and we had to walk up and down to the third floor room the first day. OK for the youngsters, but tortuous for my 60 year old bad knees. We were moved to the correct room in a wing with an elevator the next day. and the rest of our stay was excellent. All of the staff at this hotel are great and went out of their way to congenially performed some very valuable and necessary services for us during our stay.

    1. Hotel was under renovation so it was a little messy. 2. Room smelled like fish from the last occupant, the fridge was disgusting. 3. Great beach. 4. Close to everything. 5. Parking gate was 50/50 to work. All in all, I'd stay there again!

    This is a great place and a gteat deal. No it's not one of the hot spots, it's next to all the hot spots. Great beach, nice pool, love the outside bar, nice little patio outside of your room and staff is very nice. The hotels around there are nice as well and have some fun bars. I think the best part is the location. Next to the Warf with some good resturants and some good shopping. I will go back!

    My family spent a week at this hotel and loved it. It was kid-friendly. The classes (hula, lei-making, etc.) were fun and complimentary. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

    This was our second visit to Hawaii, first time to the hotel. The hotel was a great value for the money. The staff was friendly and always willing to give pointers for a better travel experience. Location was terrific as you could take a quick walk to great restaurants and wonderful shopping with additional shopping and restaurants a short drive away. Our room was always clean, and though not listed as an "ocean front" view, we could see the beach very clearly from our balcony. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the beach was spectacular. We would definitely visit again and would recommend a stay at this hotel for families, couples, or singles just wanting to enjoy what Hawaii has to offer.
