Love this resort. Went late October as a gift to myself and the lady for my Bday. Everyone that worked there was kind and helpful. Rooms were cleaned up every day and put back to how they looked when we arrived. We didn't eat at the resort except for breakfast the first day since we wanted to explore what San Diego had to offer, but the meal we had was good for sure! We also only went to the bar there one of the nights, again because we couldn't sit still enough to be at one place for too long lol, but the bar was great and had live music with mission bay as a backdrop. Loved it! The whole resort makes u feel like u have left the country and traveled to a far off exotic land. Beautiful flowers and palm trees. The lagunes and beaches were gorgeous. I would recommend this place to everyone. It's close to shopping and nightlife, and secluded so you know that you are for sure on vacation! Also it lies between Ocean Beach and Pacific Beach, either one about a 7min drive either direction so if u wanna surf or sun bathe it's all so convenient! Were planning a return visit this fall and hope to move there this winter of '11. I love San Diego and this place just made it that much better!

The resort was beautiful. The rooms were private, clean, and modern. The hot tubs and pools were great. The beach was accessible from the site. The restaurant had a great outdoor breakfast. Assuming you rent a car, the location was the perfect distance (not too close, not too far) from everything in San Diego......also slightly north of the city so it made the drive to La Jolla much shorter. If we returned to San Diego, there is no question we would go back to this resort. The only down-side was that they tell you when you arrive that it cost a good bit per day to park your car. We were not in downtown San Diego and there was ample space for parking. Seemed like a cheap way to grab extra money.
