I reserved a 2 bedroom ADA suite to take my parents for their birthdays. My parents trip was delayed a day - thank goodness! I checked in at around 9:00 pm. Guy at the desk was really nice. I got my room key and entered a building that smelled like an old, 100 year old apartment building and had an even older elevator. Needless to say, the suite was not ADA accessible. I got put into another non-ADA suite but on the first floor - 2 steps up into the unit which my dad would have had a hard time negotiating, no walk in shower with seat - just a little one that wouldn't have fit a seat let alone a walker. When I called the desk again, I was told that management had put a hold on the 2 bedroom ADA suite for renovations but he would see in the morning if they could open one. I left my things in the car and slept on the couch the first night. They did eventually put me in a 1 bdrm ADA suite and another 1 bdrm non-ADA suite down the hall that looked remodeled and didn't smell. In the ADA suite, the microwave was broken, one of the burners didn't work, there was no oven - just a toaster oven. no drawers or shelves in the bathroom sink area or room to put anything, and no where to sit or put your clothes when you showered - so the extra suite ended up being a blessing. The parking lot was difficult to negotiate due to the way they allowed cars to park, furniture from rooms being remodeled were sitting out all over, and moving trucks were blocking the way.

We were not able to sleep because people outside were very loud. The elevator seems very old the kids were afraid to use it. The hotel room needs upgrading the stove burner is uneven making it hard to cook. Theres a lot more bad things i can say but i think you get the picture.

This hotel was recommended to us by a trusted source. We checked in and it was snowing outside. The heater in our room was under the bathroom counter and would only blow cold air. I called the front desk and they sent maintenance to check it out. When the maintenance man took the cover off I was completely disgusted with the filth on the filter inside the unit. I was appalled to think that I might have spent an entire night breathing the filth that the filter was covered in. The maintenance man got the heater to work but left the disgusting filter off at my request. The sheets on the bed were so thin that at first I thought that there were none. I spent the entire night itching and am certain it was a direct result of something in the bed or the linens. I will never stay here again. I almost got up and left in the middle of the night due to the noise from the parking area and my general discomfort with the cleanliness of the room. We were not the only guests who were upset with the noise level on the property in the middle of the night because I overheard several other people complaining as they were packing their cars up to leave.
