    Our room was not vacuumed the entire time we were at this hotel, and the attendants were so loud in the mornings that there was no sleeping late at this hotel. Also, one morning we were leaving and someone had urinated in the elevator. When I alerted a staff member she said it happens all the time. Yuck! The casino was very smoky and not recommended for someone who doesn't smoke. They also charge $3/day to use the in-room safe. Are you kidding me? We tried to eat at the steak house in Bally's and we waited for 25 minutes and no one came to take our order. Since it was $40 for a steak and no side dishes, there was no way we were waiting any longer. So we just walked out. Very disappointing. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and was very disappointed. Next time we go to Vegas we will be staying at New York New York!

    Very centralized on the strip which was nice since we were walking everywhere. The lobby and gaming area was well maintained and clean and the bellhop and registration staff were courteous and helpful. Not much of a selection for eating or shopping at this establishment so we did go elsewhere for all of our meals and shopping. Some issues while we were there: we booked two rooms together as there were 6 of us. The two rooms were in opposite towers so the kids were a long way from our room. Their room was in the south tower and was somewhat shabby & in definite need of an update as there were stains on the carpet through the hallways and the room, wallpaper peeling up, and the bathroom had water stains around the faucets. We could have moved to an adjoining room the second night (in their tower) but since their room was not the greatest, we stuck with the one we had. There were 4 of them staying in that room (which was noted at check in) and they had to call every day for more towels as housekeeping would only leave them 2-3 towels each day. They also had issues with the TV remote not working. You could not operate the TV without a remote as you had to be able to select numbers from two different menus before you could get to viewing any channels. It was replaced the following day, but the replacement still did not work. Someone finally came to the room the last night and they could not get either remote to work either. Finally the last morning (just before checkout) one of the remotes worked. They were not spending much time in the room, however they wanted to watch some news and shows at bedtime or while getting ready in the morning so this was a problem, especially over 4 days/nights. They also reported that every time they called the housekeeping line they were very rude, did not speak english very clearly and would hang up on them before they could complete their entire request as there were multiple issues. Also, even though their room window faced south and the Bellagio fountains are situated across the street on the west side, they could clearly hear the booms from the fountain show every 15 minutes at night until midnight. Again, this only affected them for an hour or so each evening but was annoying when trying to sleep. Obviously the insulation and soundproofing is not very adequate. Our room was in the north tower and was much nicer, clean and comfortable, we always had enough towels and any toiletries used were promptly replaced. However, the first night there was a loud group in the adjoining room and we had to turn our TV up pretty high to attempt to cover their noise and then try to fall asleep with the TV on, but the rest of the week was quiet. As Ballys sits back on the lot there is quite a long walkway to the main entrance which does have flat and stair escalators, however the escalators going into the hotel did not work for most of our stay, nor did the revolving door into the lobby. These weren't major issues but after very long days of walking the last thing we wanted to do when we got to our hotel was walk on/climb what should have been moving escalators. The main attributes of this location was that there were not any resort fees, it was reasonably priced and centrally located.

    We keep returning to the Bally's a couple of times every year as we know what to expect and are very satisfied. They always accomodate us with a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. We find this is one of the best value , right in the best area of the Strip.
