    Specifically called the hotel and asked for a renovated king room after reading other reviews since we were staying there for over a week for my birthday. When we arrived after a very delayed flight @3:00am we were given a spacious, shabby, handicapped room w/queen bed (could not hang up my dresses because the pole in the closet was at waist level). I called down to the front desk and told them that we were in a queen room and they insisted I was mistaken. We were so tired at that point decided to deal with it in the morning. Went down to the front desk to explain the mix-up and the clerk rudely kept insisting I was mistaken that it was a KING room because it said so in their computer and that there were no other rooms available!!! So, I asked for a manager to come up and check the room. I was correct (my busband is 6'3" and we have a king at home- I know the difference)!!! Then they gave us a KING room that was renovated, but tiny, you could walk around the bed and that was it! Asked the bellhop who was helping us with our luggage if this was the usual size of a king room and he replied that most of them were much larger! Asked if we could be moved and told us that that was the only room, maybe we could move in the middle of the week. Decided that we were not going to argue anymore with the rude staff at the front desk and made the best of our tiny room. The staff did not offer anything for all of our inconveniece. The only good service we recieved was from the concierge who was very helpful with restaurant and sightseeing recomendations. Very disapointed and will not stay here again!!!

    Room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and courteous. overall, we had a good experience here. i'd stay here again.

    Good sized room, nice bathroom. in a quieter area just off union sq. about a 10-15min walk to the powell st. muni station. large lobby area.

    Hilton delivered "as promised". From the very great location, walking distance to great shopping (prime shopping mall and other high-end stores) and non-stop eateries and bars, this was a prime location. The rooms were luxurious, very clean, comfortable and sound proof. A daily exerciser, I found the hotel fitness club to be top notch (and at no charge). Public transportation could be had from any location. We rented a car and utilized Hertz parking within two blocks of the hotel. Definitely would stay again.
