The hotel is great...First night was a little bit noisy, but the other 5 nights were ok. The area around is not the best specially is you are with children or a woman by herself. Bathrooms and room were very clean. I strongly recommend this hotels. Also for young people is good for the price.

It is not really in the center of anything, but accessible to everything that we want with a fairly short walk. It is also not far from some less-desirable neighborhoods, but we felt safe. The hotel and its location are reflected in a price that is less than other places of similar quality closer to Union Square, making this an excellent value. It is clean and comfortable, and we prefer smaller hotels to the enormous towers that may offer a bit more luxury (at a much higher price). We stay here quite often and will certainly return.

This quiet, unassuming hotel is tucked away on a side street on the edge of Tenderloin. It's a pretty basic hotel; not scene-y or ultra-stylish. But for the price, it's a great little place to stay--from the friendly staff to the quaint, clean rooms and comfy bed to the location (walking distance to a number of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc.) And their daily happy hour with complimentary wine was a nice touch. Note: It's actually a half-hour happy hour, which I dubbed the HHH. Overall, if you're in San Fran for a few days, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

  • Very quaint hotel

The people were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself has a very nice style although the walls are a bit thin so you can hear people in other rooms. You can pay for valet parking per day and whenever you need your car they get it for you right away. They have very good internet service and everything is just a walk away. They do put a hold on your credit card but give it back after you check out. Was in the middle of the city so you can get to where you want to go.
