Stayed in this hotel for part of our vacation to northern California. It was located in the financial district section of town just outside of Chinatown. The hotel was very nice, seemed to be geared more to business travelers than vacationers but nice just the same. The only thinkg I guess I thought was missing was a gift shop ( the had a small selection but not a real gift shop) and a cafe with a little lower price point. We ate breakfast in the hotel one morning and it was excellent. Other days we found some great places in Little Italy and in Chinatown. We had two rooms and they both had a wonderful view of Coit Tower and the Bay. The only downside is the $60.00 per night parking fee (we had 2 cars). I would recommend it to others though as the rooms were very nice and the staff very friendly.

The lobby is small and low key, but the hotel is nice and right across from Chinatown and Little Italy up the hill, Columbia. You can continue to Tower or Fisherman's Wharf. Good place to stay. Parking is expensive by okay if you are staying more than 24 hours.

This was a birthday trip and last minute reservation. Was given special attention by the staff. Upgraded to a wonderful room with a view of beautiful San Francisco. Everyone was so nice and cheerful. Great environment.

Our first hint should have been the ear plugs on the night stand. We were booked for two nights, during our second day, I was sitting on chair and looked down and found a bra. NOT MINE!!! The room was not very well cleaned before we got there and after our first night. How do you miss a black bra on the floor, for at least TWO days. We also got tix for buffet, all the food was cold! The noise was going on all night long, we had to use the ear plugs to block out the noise from the hallway. You can hear the people next to you coughing and all the doors closing. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!
