    I stayed two days and was treated to perfect weather. Bourbon Orleans is a lovely hotel, and if you believe in that kind if thing, it's definitely haunted. It is featured on haunted tours of New Orleans and has a rich historic past. Service was top-notch. If you haven't stayed in an old hotel in awhile, the elevator is small as are the rooms, but the hotel itself is delightful. If you don't want all the noise of Bourbon Street outside your window, ask for a room that faces the cathedral. I stayed on the top floor (6th floor) and the view of the cathedral steeple and treetops was pretty. I highly recommend it and would love to return here.

    I will defnitely return to this hotel. the service was great. i was not able to make it out to the pool but it alwasy looked very inviting.

    The staff was excellent from the nice guys at the front door to the staff at the front desk to the housekeeping staff. Even the restaurant was wonderful and staffed nicely. Can't think of anything to complain about. Awesome time and glad we found the Bourbon Orleans. Loved the French Quarter Fest and our hotel and location was perfect. Thanks to all the staff.

    I work in the hotel industry and I can say that the hotel and all of the staff were just wonderful....The room was clean as well as the hotel itself. I only had breakfast at the hotel the day we left but even the lovely man who offered me coffee at 5:30 am was so very nice we decided to have breakfast before we left. It was just perfect. My grandson was upset he saw no goast but even he enjoyed his stay and wants to go back.

    I stayed here for 4 nights while attending an annual veterans' reunion. The room I was assigned was quite small, but adequate for my needs. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large but the lighting in the bathroom was a bit odd. Breakfast the first morning did not go well. I'm not sure if the restaurant staff was not expecting a large group of us at about the same time (we had a bus reserved to take us to an event, and were departing at 9am) or if they were simply short staffed that morning. I took my breakfast from the buffet and walked to the (empty) bar area to eat, as did a few other guests. The other mornings breakfast went very smoothly. The restaurant isn't open for dinner every night, only weekends. I didn't have dinner there during my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The banquet dinner was tasty and served by almost invisible wait staff, which is a good thing when they move about during programs and speeches. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go, and enjoyed my visit to New Orleans very much, and my stay at this hotel as well. Other reviews mention the historic hotel, but there's a framed document on the wall in the lobby that said this hotel was built in 1964, on the site of another building.
