    There were complaints about the small sink, bed, size of room, noise. Room was beautiful, bed great (and I have some joint problems) and sink quite acceptable. Staff were very helpful. THe only problem we experienced was getting hot water from the shower. The controls are confusing, however the maintenance man came promptly, showed us the "trick," and stated he gets called "1,000 times every day" for the same thing...with a smile. So, all good.

    Great hotel with excellent customer service. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Hotel lobby was spacious and beautiful. Registration was quick, professional and friendly. Concierge was great. Gym was amazing. The market downstairs had great coffee and breakfasts. Super convenient to subway.

    The accommodations were fine for my needs as a first time visitor to nyc (traveling without kids). the central location in manhatten was particularly convenient.

    The staff, especially at check in and out, couldn't be more pleasant. The room was surprisingly accommodating (except for a tight bathroom). The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore New York City. There is easy access to all manner of transportation and the hotel is a very short block to the stop where the airport shuttle buses terminate. Very easy to negotiate the hubbub of NY. there is a wonderful restaurant across the street for breakfast , et al. Being above Grand Central Station, you are in the midst of a lot. Once inside your room, the assuring thud of solidly made doors and quiet room can only mean a restful sleep on the comfy bed which was loaded with delightful pillows and comforter. Great choice for a trip to New ork.
