    It was a perfect spot. Good breakfast, great location, nice room, we had the delux ocean view, very close to the best snorkeling beach on the island. The pool was adequate, but could use an update.

    During our stay, breakfast was included, which consists of a full meal with eggs, pancakes, juices, milk, coffee, tea, and fresh fruit. This was great, but our favorite is that this resort is located next to the best public snorkeling area (within walking distance). When at the Big Island, this is our location of choice.

    This hotel is excellent. Our room was ocean front and overlooked the tidal pool where we saw fish, turtles, eels and lots of other sea creatures. There is an Expedia consultant in the lobby who helps you plan events during your stay (costs were comparable or cheaper than doing ourselves). Price included free breakfast buffet which saved us a lot of money. It is also right next door to Kahaluu Bay with outstanding snorkeling. Front desk service was friendly and good - maid service and dining service was slow - and that was our ONLY criticism. Would highly recommend this place!

    Clean, comfortable room. Bathroom small. Old style CRT TV. Decent, free breakfast buffet but would get a little crowded (we were there during high season). Fast in-room internet connection. Spend a little extra for deluxe room and watch sea turtles, eels, fish swimming in tide pool from your lanai. Restaurants are a little drive and you are 4-5 miles from town center. This might not appeal to those seeking night life just outside the door. Easy going atmosphere. Very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.
