    This is an excellent bargain for the price. Definitely purchase the breakfast package. It isn't the Hyatt but for the price you get comfortable facilities and rooms. Open and airy - just lovely. Parking fee of $12.95 per day I didn't like but all hotels change this or more on Kauai. The first Friday we were there they held an event in the "ballroom" called "??? Mayhem. It was one of these knock down bare knuckle kind of bloodbaths and I felt it cheapened the image of the resort. When we returned from dinner there was an ambulance and paramedics on scene attending to one of the combatants. They should rethink this before they do it again.

    We loved this hotel for the easiness to other places. our room was lovely and we could see the ocean from our balcony. the food was good also.

  • Cozy yet Elegant for Budget ($$$)

    When we arrived to lihue airport, we called the resort and their shuttle arrived within ten minutes. the lobby and pool area were spectacular, the rooms...not so much but ...

    When we arrived to Lihue Airport, we called the resort and their shuttle arrived within ten minutes. The lobby and pool area were spectacular, the rooms...not so much but were decent and clean. Internet is about $0.50 per minute. There is a complementary shuttle that will drive you to and from a local shopping center (be sure to go to kmart and times supermarket, food at hotel is PRICEY!). There are chickens E V E R Y W H E R E. Speak to guest services to reserve spot at Smith's Family Luau; you do not want to miss this. There were hotels closer to shopping and food but this resort was right on the beach and was very quiet. *Make sure to rent a car to do some exploring! -the hotel shuttle will not take you anywhere else besides the small shopping center and airport. The breakfast is around $25/person (Try the yogurt parfait which is located at the side of the breakfast entrance and is only $4).

    I liked this hotel it was good. no cell service but tasty buffet. pool area was very nice. have to pay for parking.

    This hotel is very convenient to the airport. The pool are is beautiful and also provides beach access. The hotel is clean, rooms are adequate- a bit small if you have 4 people. We stayed the 2 nights before our timeshare week in North Kauai. Lihue is convenient to both south shore and east shore sites. The hotel service was friendly.
