Just spent 3 nights (3/9-11/2009) at the Wynn properties (2 nights at the Encore and 1 night at the Wynn). The Encore is beautiful. In comparison, the Wynn resort rooms are in the need of a makeover. I found the food at both properties to be extremely expensive for the quality/quantity. The Wynn?s buffet was mediocre at best. Service was horrible. Encore front desk were unresponsive to a simple issue. I reminded them that in this economic climate the gambling consumer has many choices. They didn?t seem to care. For the money-I would stay someplace else.

My experience at the Wynn was truly a postive one. The staff was both friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and spacious. At check in it was a quick and smooth process. The staff did what they could to meet my needs. I would say if you are looking to stay in the middle of the strip this hotel is a little further up but we certainly could walk down without trouble. I did attend the 2 nightclubs in the hotel and Tryst was definitely my favorite of the two. I also did have the champagne brunch which had very good food and the choices were plentiful. I would definitely stay here again. Also the show Le Reve was outstanding.....better than O

I did expect more from the Wynn. The noise from the airplanes was annoying. The mall across the street played loud advertisements from speakers which you could hear in our room. Worst of all the ads were played over and over, you felt like it was a Chinese torture tactic. Housekeeping was definetly lax. The view from the bedroom to the mountain range was beautiful. I do want to go back to Las Vegas but I am not sure where to stay at this point.

we stayed at the Wynn for a long weekend- last week. It is indeed a beautiful property. Unfortunately, from the moment we got there we were disappointed with the poor service. It continues to this very moment, as I wait for them to resolve a mistake on our bill, that they promised on Monday would be resolved. We arrived late on Wednesday night and were very suprised to find no one to help us with our bags (my husband had his golf clubs, no less). We got ourselves to registration where the clerk asked me for my credit card, before she asked me my name. She told us our suite was in the tower on the other side of the casino. She never offered to get us a bellman to help with our bags, so we schlepped them across the admittedly beautiful casino. The suite was lovely. The following night, an incredibly rude manager at the buffet told us, after waiting for 40 minutes to be seated, that we probably wouldn't get in, and if we did, we'd have about 20 minutes to eat. On our last morning, I had to call twice to get a bellman to get our luggage (what is it about the bellman at that place??) I filled out the Express checkout paperwork (the checkout feature on the TV didn't work), put it in the Express checkout box promptly at noon, as instructed, and off we went. Got home to New Jersey only to get our final bill via email with a half day fee on it for late checkout! I called and spoke to someone named Kip who assured me it would be taken care of within three days. I then spoke to a manager named Steve who apologized for the poor service, but clearly
