Monte Carlo is in a good location for first time visitors to Vegas. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is clean and the beds are comfortable. What the room lacks, is a coffee maker, which hotels of it caliber would have provided. The bath tub should have safety hand bar for guest, be they young or old. The food court and the buffet was good value. It is an old but lovely hotel, I would stay there again.

02/26/2011I have stayed at monte carlo 5+ times. the rooms and bathrooms are comfortable but not fancy. the staff will correct anything in the room that needs changing. the casino ...
I have stayed at Monte Carlo 5+ times. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable but not fancy. The staff will correct anything in the room that needs changing. The casino in the hotel is very nice and the Cafe is excellent. The Cupcakery is amazing and definitely recommended! Location is next door to Aria, 1/2 block from CVS (for those forgotten items) and across the street a bit from Walgreen's. Great proximity to MGM, Paris, Planet Hollywood and everywhere else and taxis are easily procured. Deuce bus stop is at Planet Hollywood.Monte Carlo is like a home away from home in Vegas and a great choice for a reasonable, clean, safe place to stay.

Its not a new hotel. Its not a deluxe hotel. But for the price its a good value. The rooms are clean the staff is friendly. The buffet and coffee shop are fine. If you want luxury go next door to City Center or Bellagio and expect to pay for it. If you want a reasonable price the Monte Carlo is just fine.
