Since I am not a gambler, I cannot comment on the casino. However, the rooms or quite nice, the location is great with walking to several large, high end shopping malls, and the hotel itself contains a Carnegie delicatessen just like the one in New York, as well as a California pizza kitchen and several other restaurants. Almost directly across the street is a McDonald's and and Outback Steakhouse. The Venetian, the Palazo, Caesar's Palace and Treasure Island hotels are all within walking distance. There is a self-park garage which is free. The pool is nice, although food and drink at the poolside is a little pricey. Terry Fator (ventriloquist) and the Beatles Cirque du Sole are also in the hotel.

My wife and I recently traveled to Las Vegas and stayed at the Mirage. We stayed at 3 other hotels during our trip, and we both agreed that the Mirage was the best (and the other hotels were of similar if not higher ratings). The staff was amazing, accomidating, and very friendly. The environment was great for gambling or just taking in the experience. The pool was by far the best, and the dolphin and big cat exhibits are worth the money (not that it was expensive). All in all, we would recommend the Mirage to our friends and family, and we will stay there on our next visit.

  • love the mirage

It would be a 5 star all the way around, as the rooms are gorgeous, and the staff friendly enough, but it was $.
