    The staff was the best that the hotel could offer. The scene was the other. Other than those two things, the hotel seems old and the room was small, compare to the other hotels I've stayed at. I had a hard time finding the room (convoluted layouts). The bed feels hard and the carpet feels dirty. My luggage didn't arrive until 2pm the NEXT day. The staff was kind to give me amenities to provide me with a little comfort to my stay.

    I have stayed here before, and the conference I go to is in the main tower. The second building is a bit of a walk, but otherwise ok. I object that they charge extra to use the work out rooms and internet when you are already paying for the room.

    This hotel is very conveniently located near San Diego Airport, downtown, freeways and the beaches. The hotel was designed to take full advantage of two magnificent views: downtown and the harbor. Both are breathtaking. The hotel was clean and gorgeous. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend it! Full disclosure: I am particularly enamored because my reservation was created by the reduced rate "secret hotel" service.
