i don't understand why this hotel, along with harrah's and a bunch others belong to the same group as caesar's palace. located on the busiest part of strip, however, it's shabby, dark, crowded, stressful, and the line to check in, guess how long? an average of 2 hours. room doesn't feel clean and comfortable. elevator to our room is like a five minute walk, passing a million rooms. local calls, even 800 calls are not free. and it is loud, noisy outside. cannot relax. will definitely not return. even if they give me free rooms, i will not go.

I have stayed at the IP quote a few times over the years. In times past it was a great hotel at a great value. It has been nearly ten years since my last stay there and I must say the Imperial Palace really needs an update. The carpet is the same as it was ten years ago when I stayed there and it shows! The overall appearance of the hotel is poor. The hotel doesn't staff enough front desk personnel to handle the customer flow.

My girlfriend and I originally were booked for Capri Suites. It is located way in the back of the casino and the rooms were pretty generic. Our room was located in the ground floor and it was very musty and smelled of mildew. My girlfriend has bad asthma and when I told the front desk that the dampness in the room was causing it to flare up, they gave us a room in the towers section. It was 100 times better than the Capri Suites.

Not the nicest hotel on the strip, but a great deal for the money. Rooms are decent, casino a little depressing upon first impression but it grows on you. The tables are pretty cheap, pool is decent and there's fun, free karaoke upstairs. Plus, Imperial Palace has Hash House, home to the biggest and best breakfast in Vegas. Hotel is centrally located, which is a plus. Gym fee $10 extra pp/p day, a minus. But the worst thing here was the line to check in and check out. If you're coming in on a weekend, be prepared to wait about 30 min or so.

Absolutely the worst room I have ever stayed in. The entire hotel needs to be updated and looked like it hasn't been since Bugsy Seigal was alive. The rooms stunk. The carpeting was stained with years of dirt and wear and tear. The stairways smelled like urine! The view in my room was of the shipping and receiving dock. I have never seen a hotel that didn't have a lobby until this one. It took us 30 minutes to figure out the puzzling and frustrating maze to get to the horrible room. Very, very uncomfortable and not enough of a price difference from some of the higher end facilities to ever consider again. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. I am absolutely embarrassed to admit that I stayed there.
