The decor of the hotel was very swanky, but did not feel stuffy. The Red Wood bar had an amazing vibe and was just amazing. Although the room was small, it was exquisitely decorated and very clean. Great service from staff at all times. Highly recommend this property!

Loved this hotel. This was my first trip to San Fran and the Clift was in a great location. Easy to walk/jump on a troll to tons of must see sites such as Fisherman's Wharf or China Town. The lounge at night was also a great plus to the hotel! Staff was wonderful - very helpful in booking tours to Napa/Sonoma as well as recommended great spots nearby to eat. Def staying here again the next time I visit San Fran!

Beautiful old hotel with nice decor throughout. The room was on the small side but it was perfect for our needs. Giant bed which was perfect to sleep in. Great location within walking distance to so many nice parts of Frisco.
