We stayed here for the Big Sur Half Marathon and it was perfect. Walking distance to the mall and to cute downtown area. Bed is soft and warm, the layout of the room is nice, and there is a hot tub on the premises. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner because they don't provide those. Otherwise, it's perfect!

Good location, good price, quiet, everything in good shape / working properly (recently refurbished, I believe). Plenty of pillows. Pretty good breakfast. Jacuzzi was hot (104). Only negative, the pool was cold (~70). Told staff, and they actually seemed to care, jumped right on it.

Great place for the money!

We stayed here because it was inexpensive for an overnighter. We got much more than we asked for--the staff was really accommodating for our late arrival, the room was really nice and very quiet (which I love) and clean. They gave a great free continental breakfast with pastries, cereal, juice, fruit and so on.
This hotel offers great value with respect to its price, location, and quality (make sure to ask for one of the rooms that doesn?t have a floor above) and because it's just a couple blocks from downtown, you save but don't have to compromise much in the way for downtown travel. This hotel comes highly recommended.
