The hotel was probably good about 20 years ago. It was very dirty and had a terrible smell. I had to goto the CVS and buy a can of fresh air deodarizer to help get the smell out. I would not recommend this place if you're going to Ft. Lauderdale.

I was takin my boyfriend to fort lauderdale for his 27th birthday, I dont make a lot of money so after looking at this hotel i though it would be perfect and it was a good price. Although when we arrived at this hotel it was TERRIBLE!!!! I had read the reviews that it would be ok if you werent in the room very much but you cant see the ocean or beach from the hotel, it was so dirty, there were burn marks in the blankets and the chair, cigarette ashes and butts in the bathroom toliet and the bathroom was so small you could barely move. We sat there two hours until we were able to find another hotel. We didnt even feel safe in this hotel the 2 hours we sat in there durring the afternoon. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't stay again. Walking into the room, it looks clean, neat and well organized. Our room had two double beds, a mini fridge and microwave ;both newish;, dressers, a nice sized walk-in closet, and a very small bathroom. Within minutes we realized our feet were black from the floor. The beds were very hard and had a vinyl lining underneath that was very loud. Housekeeping never brought us extra towels we asked for ;since there were 3 of us in the room;, but they didn't speak English so I guess I can't fault them there. The pool was very clean and nice, but you also were forced to interact with other guests there. Yikes, what a crew we ran into. Our towels got stolen from the railing when we left them out to dry, which we weren't happy about. Beach access was maybe a block away. It was less than a 5 minute walk with an 18 month old.
Overall, you get what you pay for, and we didn't go with high expectations. The location was great, close to the beach, grocery store, and there were a few good restaurants near by. The beach was never crowded when we were there ;it was July;. The cleanliness left much to be desired, and I was glad to come home after 4 days. Our family had a great time in Fort Lauderdale, so the hotel wasn't terrible enough to ruin our trip.

Stayed here one night and had to cancel for the next night. The beds were so hard we only slept for mabye 3 hours the whole night, might as well sleep on the floor, which the tile floor was so filthy my feet were black on the bottoms. The free breakfast was a bagel and coffee if you want more you have to pay 6 dollars for dried up potatoes and dried eggs. The swimming pool was so nasty there was long hair floating on top of the water. Parking is bad also we went out came back and had to park in a dark alley behing the motel with a narrow entrance where we almost scraped the paint off of the car. And the fire alarm in the room had been knocked off the wall and was laying on the dresser all I can say is avoid this hotel.

My BF and I just wanted to get a cheap hotel for a night, so this hotel was good for that. We enjoyed the tiki bar, the bartenders were really nice to us and we didn't mind the resident doggies, we thought it added to the atmosphere. The rooms could have been dirtier and the beds were a little noisy, but you get what you pay for. There were salt packets left on the floor from previous tenant, I just had to laugh at that. If you need a cheap hotel and drink for one night, then this place would be ok.
