We were in awe of the beauty of our hotel room and enjoyed our 4 night stay very much! The hospitality room was an unexpected added bonus where we enjoyed refreshments and tasty treats nightly at no extra cost. Unfortunately the hotel on the rooftop was closed for holiday, because we would have loved to experience it. The convenience of the metro station within walking distance made getting to the center of Barcelona very easy. Thumbs up to Hisperia Tower Hotel. We would definitely stay again!

the hotel is a great stay especially with the view i had on the 24th suite room (for which I paid Euro50/night for this upgrade). The rooms are a great accommodation but a Queen bed is not an option. Though the mini-bar is full, i missed my coffee which is the 1st thing i need as soon a i wake-up. The location is between the city center and the airport which is not so convenient as you are stuck in the evenings in your room. Taxis are difficult to find with a waiting time between 15-40mins. The Metro is convenient especially to reach Place de Catalunya and La Rambla thereof which is 5mins by walk. The food is great but don't bother to go to the bar as it is always empty. There are no convenient stores around & the nearest carrefour is at gran via which is about 4km. The TV has limited ""free"" options and the charge for more channels is Euro17/day which probably is ridiculous.The gym & pool are worth a visit. Wi-fi was good for me in the room (thanks to x) but i did see people struggling with the network. Next time i would stay at La Rambla or a better location. The stay was boring !

The hotel accommodations are beautiful. The lobby, rooms and bathrooms are spectacular and clean. The service from the staff was excellent the moment we arrived (we got to the hotel around 10 a.m. and were immediately able to get into our room; this would never happen in the States). The location is very convenient to the metro (Hospital de Bellvitge stop on the L1 ? red line). This is the last stop on the metro line and it?s about a five minute walk to the station. Depending on where you are heading you can expect a 20-40 minute ride. The hotel has a shuttle service that runs at least three times daily into Pla?a Catalunya. You are also able to get the shuttle back to the hotel from the same location it drops you off. On two occasions we took a taxi from downtown to the hotel because we were out late, both times we paid less than 15? to get to the hotel. Suggestions for hotel improvements: they seem to be lacking in some standard services (that I am used to in inexpensive US hotels). I expected to have an iron, ironing board, and hair conditioner. I would recommend you bring your own conditioner because I wasn?t able to find any small bottle at the grocery store. Also, the wireless internet signal is extremely poor in the rooms. The only place we were able to get a good wifi signal was in the lobby on the chairs near the elevator bay. Most of the nights we spent downtown, however a couple times we attempted to go to the bar on the third floor, it was practically empty (even on the weekends) and while it looks very trendy you can have a better atmosphere for less money in the city.
