This hotel is very close to the Disney Parks & Downtown Disney. The Mission Suite room was nice, clean & spacious. Did not appreciate paying a parking fee each day & parking was a little challenging. Would stay there again.

We have stayed at the Anabella 3 times in total. The previous 2 stays were very good but this time was terrible. Our room was broken into about half way through our stay. The theives got in through the bathroom window and left a black greasy mess in the tub which I had to clean because nobody from the hotel came to see us or take care of the mess. I tried to talk to the manager several times during the rest of our stay but he was somehow never available. No one from the hotel talked to us about the break-in - no sorry, no nothing. The only clue we had that they were concerned was the next day when we got home and noticed a locking mechanism on the bathroom window. Because our stay was prepaid we couldn't withhold partial payment on check-out. When I got home I emailed the manager but he never replied. I am still angry and we will not stay at the Anabella again. As far as the usual amenities go, we felt the quality of the hotel had gone down from our previous stay a year earlier. Cleaning was slip shod and we had trouble getting service when we needed it. We had the feeling that as long as the hotel had our money and we were in a room they did not need to do anything further.

When we first arrived, I was extremely disappointed when we were told there is a $* tax per day charge to park. There was nothing in the hotel discription saying anything about the parking when we booked the room. Then the first night we were there the entire restaurant & pool was closed for a private party. The following day we tried to eat lunch at 11:30 and we were told the restaurant doesn't open until 12 noon. There are no restaurant hours posted anywhere, I'm assuming they must open & close when they please. The room we had was a "jr suite" and was on the small side. I've stayed at Best Western in the past for less money, with a bigger room and two queen beds instead of one queen & a day bed. Also, our room was never made up/serviced by the housekeeping. However, the room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable.

Our experience was a mixture of good and bad. Our first room did not have hot water so we had to take shower/bath with luke warm water. After reporting this to the hotel, someone offered to move us to an upgraded room late at night. We decided to move the next day since it was late. When we called the next day the front desk did not want to move us, saying that the hot water is back. We had to call again to talk to a different person and he agreed to move us. The housekeeper we ran into had no facial expression and made no attempt to greet patrons. At the restaurant we had both good and bad service on different days. It seems like the service you receive depends on who you run into. The service is very inconsistent. The hotel needs to train its staff to provide good, consistent service. For this reason we are not able to recommend this hotel.

Overall it was a great hotel. The suite worked perfect for a family with a seperate tv for the kids in their room. It was within walking distance from the parks which was great as we could go to the room for lunch and a break. A fridge was already there, I didn't have to ask for one which was great. We will definitly stay there again.
