  The front desk staff was very helpful and polite. The pool was not working. There was no fan in the bathroom and the beds were full's at best, rather on the small side. The room was relatively quiet and pretty clean.

  This hotel is a great value for the money. It was very clean, generally quiet and accessible to downtown. It is in downtown?s fareless zone which makes taking public transport very easy. However, it is close to many things so you can walk if you are so inclined--the water front is about a five minute walk, the free streetcar five minutes, downtown hotels(for conference I was attending) about 15 minutes. Probably 20 minute walk to the main restaurants downtown. The hotel actually ended up being cheaper than what Travel agency quoted. The staff in the hotel were friendly?the only problem I had was when I calling them directly to confirm the reservation, which Travel agency apparently had not finished making(I had to follow up with both twice.) Travel agency also has the room listed as two queen beds but the hotel only has double beds in the rooms with two beds. We were on the first floor, facing the highway. I was worried about security and they were willing to move us once other rooms were available, but we had already settled by the time a room was available. No problems with security or noise from the outside. The walls can be a bit thin but that was only a problem one night. My friend and I will definitely stay there again.
