When we arrived early, our hotel room was ready and the staff registered us and gave us our room. The room was large and the bed was one of the most comfortable. The Fairmont Olympic was a good choise. Schuckers was an excellent restaurant with a wonderful "happy hour" selection of $* tap beers and lunch meal prices until 5:00. We had been out all day and this was refreshing. The pool in the hotel is maintianed as a health club and better than most that we have experienced at a hotel. The hotel is very clean and seems to have been updated recently. Joining there Presidents Club gives guests access to free internet and other priviledges and is free to join. The location is in walking distance to Pike's Market and the Seattle Art Museum. I would highly recommend the Fairmont as a place to relax and enjoy.

This is a great hotel! The location was perfect for us. We walked to many of the places we wanted to visit. The hotel car came in very handy a few times. The room was beautiful! We upgraded to a suite for minimal price and would highly recommend it. The concierge was always helpful. The lobby-gorgeous! We would definitely stay here again!

We waited three hours for a room to be available next to my daughter's room because we were helping her with her children. When our room was finally ready it was on a different floor. We waited almost an hour to get our car from the valet and were therefore late for the party we had come up to Seattle for. At checkout it took over an hour to get our bags after we had the kids all seat belted into the car.

My son and I stayed one night after taking a Princess cruise. We had booked a room with 2 twins but were upgraded to a king with a roll away that we accepted as we were early arrival and this room was ready, we were at the hotel at 10 am after disembarking the ship. Cab fare from Princess pier 91 to hotel was $13. 12 story hotel in heart of downtown, we were on 9th floor. Pleasant, accommodating staff. Business center is $10 for computer use, I chose to have concierge print our boarding passes for free. Room clean and comfortable. Bed and linens outstanding with many comfortable pillows. Shutle to airport stops every 1/2 hour on the Seneca street rear; side of hotel-$11 each one way. We did not find too many places to eat close by, on site restaurant pricy ;but all of Seattle is unless you eat at a chain such as Quizno's, etc with nationwide fixed pricing;. Pike Place market 6 blocks away, beware that coming back is uphill if you choose to walk. The one complaint was noise-as in any large city-emergency sirens on into the night, quieted down after 1 am or so. Also the people in adjoining room were loud, apparently partying. Since I didn't have to get up early, I didn't complain to hotel staff.
