This hotel was very nice, it looks like they have just redone a lot. There was still some construction going on outside the building but it wasn't an issue at all. The room was very nice and clean and the bed was very comfy. The only complaint I have is the parking fee. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and I've never had to pay to park my car.

Undergoing major construction
10/28/2009I was not aware until i arrived that the hotel was undergoing major construction, making access difficult and causing general inconvenience. apparently the construction has been ongoing for some time. ...
I was not aware until I arrived that the hotel was undergoing major construction, making access difficult and causing general inconvenience. Apparently the construction has been ongoing for some time. Had I known, I would have chosen another hotel for this visit.

This was our first trip to Atlanta and it was wonderful. We found the hotel to be very clean and would definitely stay again. The rooms are spacious and clean - we were in a renovated room. Some rooms are still being renovated and there was noise during the day while they were working but nothing that wasn't tolerable. We found everyone that we encountered on our stay to be extremely friendly from the cleaning staff to the cooks and on up the ladder. We were only able to enjoy one night of the cocktail hour and that was very nice. The breakfast in the morning was very good with a broad selection of food available. Our only suggestion for travelers would be to get to the breakfast by 9 am because it does get busy on the weekends and the lines can become long. We didn't have to rent a car so we didn't have to pay the parking fees at the hotel which can be costly. Being from Wisconsin, the one thing that we noticed the most was how friendly everyone was no matter where we went...the hotel, restaurants.

Embassy is under renovation, and it is verry noisy especally at 8am, elevator's didn't work all the time, the parking fee is $**. a day, guess they are trying to make up for the free breakfast (stand in line and wait 30min.) and the nightly reception(is good)... maid service is really slow, i think they wait till your in the room so you will just ask for towels, so they won't have to clean everything
