Room was great. The whole resort was clean and beautiful. The restaurants were on the pricey side. The Rainbow Lani has great food but $*.00 for the buffet was steep. We had 1 buffet and on Omelet on the menu for breakfast and the total was $*. It is better to eat off property. The Rock n Roll Review and Fireworks display on Fridays was awesome. All the staff was friendly. Location was great. Would stay again.

The overall stay was ok, it started off bad, we booked a king size bed and they gave us a double, come on it's just the wife and I. And they gave us a double? Next when we went into the room, the shower curtain stunk really bad, it smelled like a wet dog. Other than that beach convenient was great, luau was good, the rainbow lanai restaraunt breakfast buffet there was excellent. There is a nice sushi place there also, they have lobster sashimi, the head is still squirming at yall while u eat his tail.

The Hilton Hawaiian Village has it all. The best stretch of Waikiki Beach, many shops right on the grounds, great restaurants & bars right there & several that are right on the beach, with a great view of the water. You really don't have to leave to go anywhere else. You can walk to other hotel restaurants along Waikiki Beach by using the boardwalk along the beach, or by walking the city streets. Nearby are several other restaurants (Outback, Red Lobster, I-HOP, Planet Hollywood, etc.). Food & extras are expensive, so we purchased breakfast & lunch stuff at the ABC Store (right there at Hilton), and enjoyed our meals on the balcony of our room while looking out over the ocean, and we went out for a nice dinner each night. That saved us a LOT of money. Don't miss the Friday night show at the super pool, followed by fireworks on the beach. If you rent a car, parking will cost you $24/day (for self parking), but you will have easy access in/out with your room key. Overall, this is a GREAT place to stay & we'll stay here again if we return to Oahu. The atmosphere here is fantastic!
