  I just got back from a short stay at Penang. As we arrived late, we have chosen to stay at Copthorne Orchid at Penang. Attracted by their cheap price indeed for we only checked in at almost 11p.m. However, the whole hotel is very old, no matter the exterior condition of the hotel, the decoration, the facilities, the hotel room facilitites & furniture, etc. Expect sthg rather 1980's condition! However, it offers proximity to the city and we can park our car free of charge at hotel car park. Did not try their breakfast though.
