I was really excited about my trip to Atlanta to see 311, and surprised to find a good deal on travelocity for a downtown hotel. Then I noticed after all the charges I could've booked through the hotel's website for the same price. Check in was at 3pm, we got there at 4pm and supposedly there were no rooms available, and they had me down for wanting a queen bed, not the double beds that I requested. The mid 20's fellow at the desk told me it shouldn't be long, as room service was cleaning the room. So we went to the bar inside the lobby, nice perk horrible service, and had a beer. I went back to check in, even though he said he'd call me, and he still said that nothing was available. We waited an HOUR and I was fed up and late already to meet up with some people, so I stopped back by the desk. The young lady with said they did have rooms available, sorry about the wait. The rooms were decent, a little small, and our view from the second floor balcony was of the enterance to the hotel. We came back from the show, which was awesome, walked to Metro Cafe which was rad to grab some food, then chilled at the lobby bar for a bit. The waitresses would only offer to come to our table when I walked up to the bar, that pissed me off. I met some other 311 fans, and one of them told me they tried to do the same thing about the queen bed to him and he complained and got an upgrade. Wish I would've b*tched more! Bed time about 20 kids where hanging out by our door. I'd Try somewhere else next time.

11/20/2008Very nice place. staff could have been nicer. the atrium was beautiful. very convenient place to stay in dt area.

10/27/2008Hotel room was tiny but clean. telephone cord was broken so you could only use the speaker phone. for the price, it was a so, so experience.

10/08/2008Do not waist your time or money. this hotel is old and is on desparate need of renovation. i would not stay her for business or pleasure.
