Stuck at Airport!!!
02/06/2013Once i got here i found out that parking is extra. what?? at a airport hotel?? so i paid it. i could deal with that, wouldn't have come back, ...
Once I got here I found out that parking is extra. What?? At a airport hotel?? So I paid it. I could deal with that, wouldn't have come back, but it would have been ok. Then the fun started happening. Once I got back from my trip I called the hotel to find out where I needed to be to get the shuttle back to the hotel. The lady told me that it would be 10-15 minutes at door 509. 45 minutes later, after watching other hotel shuttles do laps, I was still waiting. Called back again and was told that they couldn't get a hold of the driver but that she would be here at any moment. Then I got a call back stating that it would be 15 minutes. Boy am I a sucker because I stayed. 30 minutes later I decided that I would spend the $30 dollars to take a taxi instead of hanging out at the airport all night. If you like standing on the curb at DIA, this is the hotel for you.

We were on a weekend trip and found this hotel to be just what we needed. It was close to DIA to getting there when we came into DIA was easy. Since we were traveling to other places the next day, the fact that the hotel was close to local freeways was very handy. The breakfast was fairly good with both hot and cold options. The room was large and comfortable.

everything went pretty well with the exception of the pillows on the beds. not trying to be petty but with 2 beds and 6 pillows it would have been nice to have had 3 soft pillows instead of 6 very thick and hard pillows. would have made for a better nights sleep.it was aliitle strange with the noise that went on for a long time. not sure if it was from the work that was going on close by for the expansion at the airport or if was coming from a room within the hotel but sounded as it is blasting going on close by .heard it throughout the night as well as first thing the next morning and we were on the first floor.
