We stayed for three weeks from July 11 to August 1 / 2009 , we are three adults husband , wife & our son . this was our 8th vacation in the same room at the same location , we consider this place like our own condo . Usually we call the manager in advance , but we discovered that a new administration took over and the manager was replaced . So we asked to talk to the manager where Mr. X took our call and without any hesitation , informed Miss X the reseptionist to answer all our needs . Beautiful beach , good housekeeping , and very friendly Mr. Mike the beach attendant , and Sarah the bartender . Fully satisfied with everything , but we missed the restaurent , because it was closed for renovation and scheduled to re-open the week of August 9th/ 2009 ; this was not a problem because across the street , there is Publix the grocery store , a Greek restaurant , Chineese and a nice pizza restaurants . Definitely we will back ` The Kasbarian Family , Hagop,Mary & Aram Montreal / Canada

This hotel smelled bad, had people with no courtesy and was almost nothing like what was described on this site!! There is no omelet station, the restaurant isn't even open for anything other that stale donuts for breakfast. There's no laundry facility either. THe staff was rude most of the time and the place smelled like a litter box!

I read many reviews before booking my trip. I stayed for 2 nights on May 8-10th. Prepaid my stay w/ a online travel website, then was charged by the hotel upon checkout. It is now June 30th and the hotel has not refunded or returned any of my phone calls. They have passed me around to 5 employees, from Registration to the Night Auditor to Accounting to Reservations to the hotel manager. I am now disputing the charge w/ my credit card and seeking help from the website. I will not prepay my stays with in the future. As for the hotel... good safe location, some updating has occured-paint & furniture. The slider in the room #311 was broken allowing traffic noise all night. (yes, I brought this to their attention, but they gave no response...hmm. Plenty of quaint accomodations right next door.

This hotel is older; however, the staff is pleasant, the rooms are sufficient and the location is very convenient. The beach is just a short walk from the hotel. Parking is convenient and there is no additional daily charge. This is a good value and we look forward to going back again next year.

I was looking for a great location and this fit the bill. View of beach from our balcony. SImple one block walk to the white sand beaches of the Intercoastal. The hotel is early 60's so they are origanal instead of ""retro"". The people at the desk were effiecent and friendly. The breakfast was okay but the woman who cooked and maintained the area was lovely. I was under the impression they didn't give her much to work with. For the price you couldn't stay in a better location also they over a shuttle service that is much more reasonable than a very lenghty cab drive.
