The Gaylord Opryland is located approximately seven miles from Nashville International Airport. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills Mall and ten miles from downtown.

The hotel amenities include nine acres of indoor gardens under climate-controlled glass atriums, complete with rivers, pathways, and waterfalls. Besides an exciting water show and botanical garden tours, guests can enjoy blissful pampering at the opulent 27,000-square-foot European-inspired spa featuring an indoor-outdoor pool, 12 private treatment rooms, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Numerous onsite shops sell clothing, bath products, jewelry, gifts, music, kids' stuff, candies, accessories, and much more. For dining and refreshments, the hotel houses Old Hickory Steakhouse (a 20,000-square-foot, antebellum-style mansion within the hotel complex), Cascades Seafood Restaurant and Wasabi's Sushi Bar, Ristorante Volare, Waters Edge Market Place (with a grand buffet), Findley's Irish Pub (with nightly entertainment), Rusty's Sports Bar & Grill, and other restaurants and specialty shops. Nearby attractions include the General Jackson Showboat and the Golf Institute at Gaylord Springs Golf Links. This hotel provides self-parking a day (charge) or valet parking (charge).

All 2,881 rooms feature hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, electronic locks, safes, two-line telephones, and voicemail.

In addition to the room rate, guest will be responsible for a charge + tax per-day, per-room, Resort Fee. This daily fee includes: in-room high-speed Internet access, local calls up to 20 minutes, toll-free calls up to 20 minutes, access to the new fitness center, Relache, daily newspaper delivery (USA Today M-F/Tennessean Sat-Sun), in-room bottled water (two bottles provided, refreshed daily), and scheduled complex shuttle transportation.
