Barcelo La Jolla de Mismaloya is a luxury all-suites all-inclusive resort located on a magnificent stretch of beach, about 15 minutes from downtown Puerto Vallarta, and 45 minutes from the airport. The resort enjoys a 1,600 yard-long beach, located on a gorgeous bay in front of the often-photographed arches. This is the beach where Night of the Iguana was filmed, starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.The property features four swimming pools with waterfalls, Jacuzzis, children's slides, fitness center, watersports, pool volleyball, tennis court, a spa, and ample activities for both adults and children such as scuba diving, mountain biking and horseback riding. A total of 317 spacious suites with private terrace are divided in two towers facing the beach, each with air-conditioning, two-line phones with modem access, safes, satellite TVs and mini-bars. Deluxe Suites are located on floors 1 to 5 and have views of the pool and gardens, while Premium Suites are located on floors 6 to 9 and have views of the ocean.
