Base St Kilda is a backpacker hostel located one block form Acland Street with a variety of shops, cafes & restaurants located near by. Base is only two blocks from St Kilda Beach, 20 minutes from the city centre and approximately 30 minutes from Melbourne Airport.
Facilities include the Red Eye Bar, a travel desk, luggage storage, a lounge room with TV/DVD, communal kitchen/dining room, guest laundry and Internet cafe with 24/7 high-speed Internet connection. There is no curfew or lockout, and reception is open 24 hours.
All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, heating & air-conditioning. All linen is included and all private rooms. The Girls sanctuary rooms also include towels.
