Benefitting from an inviting microclimate, Estalagem offers guests the best of the ocean. Tucked in amongst Madeira's many steep cliffs are pebble beaches creating a stark contrast with the sea, a similar concept within the hotel. Without detracting from the water's beauty, the hotel has been done in black and white with light wood furnishings. Floors of black stone are covered with grey rugs while the walls adorn classic black and white photography. The emphasis in on the blue of the ocean creating an incredible view and a simple, relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere.
