Strand Hotel is located right in the city centre with the city's best view. Both the roof terrace and several rooms offer a view of the attractions: the fishmarket, Bryggen, Vagen and Floien. The hotel has been completely refurbished during the last few years and now presents itself as a modern first class business hotel. The hotel has such a long history. The hotel building was completed in the late 1920'ies and consisted originally of two separate hotels, "Fønix Hotel" and "City Hotel". A wide variety of different brands especially Cognac and Whiskey. The bar is open from 1800-0100hrs (Closed on Sunday's). Maximum seating capacity for 90 guests.
Restaurant Info - The hotel has a breakfast room which is located on the 1st floor, Buffet breakfast is available for guests each morning. Free coffee/tea is available 24hrs in the breakfast room. Free waffles are available every afternoon from 4pm-6pm also served in the breakfast room. The hotel does not have their own restaurant, however they recommend a restaurant which is located within 1/2 minute walk away. The restaurant is called the Lido restaurant and is very well known located in the very heart of the city.
