The Green Mountain Inn is updating its Health Club, therefore, the spa area (Jacuzzi, Sauna and Massage) will be closed off Sunday, November 1 - Thursday, November 19th. (Massage will take place in guest rooms).
Whip Bar and Grill will be closed for lunch November 2 - November 19 and for dinner November 2 - November 5, 2009.
Built in 1833, the restored Green Mountain Inn is situated in the heart of historic Stowe Village, approximately 24 miles from Burlington International Airport. Within 40 miles, guests will find Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Shelburne Farm & Museum, golf courses, Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, and the Vermont Stage Company. The inn features a year-round outdoor heated pool, full service health club, Jacuzzi, sauna, afternoon tea & cookies, and game room. Other amenities include DVD players and DVD rentals, and seasonal badminton, volleyball, and croquet. Breakfast is served 7 days a week from 7:30am to 10am in the Main Street Dining Room and patrons can enjoy dinners at the Whip Bar & Grill. Guest rooms are furnished with early American decor and feature full private baths, telephones, cable TVs, A/C, and hairdryers.
