  Booked this hotel online even though the reviews were not all that great. Got a great deal so decided to try it...had a room with a kitchenette that was a deciding factor. The staff was nice when we checked in. The room was not cleaned the whole stay and we had to go get clean towels....there was never a question about the towels or a problem getting them but it was not convenient. The carpeting was dirty and the room had a musty smell. The hotel is definitely old. The parking is not the best but we were able to find a parking space....definitely a tight squeeze and was glad we had a small vehicle. The weekend brought the party crowd with some not too pleasant situations. We were ready to check out but since we only had one day left we toughed it out, but it was the deciding factor that we will not stay here again. The complimentary breakfast was "found" the second day...it is in a room next to the office. It consisted of packaged bagels, packaged blueberry muffins one day then packaged danishes the others. Have had better coffee. Was glad to have milk in carton and the choice of skim...so many times the milk is in a carafe and skim is not available. There is a 7-11 close with okay coffee and a Dunkin' Donut not too far away.

  My family booked four rooms here and would not recommend anyone to stay here. the parking is awful. we were not able to park in the hotel parking lot because ...

  MY FAMILY BOOKED FOUR ROOMS HERE AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE. THE PARKING IS AWFUL. WE WERE NOT ABLE TO PARK IN THE HOTEL PARKING LOT BECAUSE OF PEOPLE THAT WERE NOT GUEST OF THE HOTEL. WE ASKED MANAGEMENT TO ENFORCE THEIR PARKING FOR HOTEL GUEST ONLY POLICY BUT THEY WOULD NOT. A MEMBER OF THEIR STAFF COMMENTED THAT "YOU PAY FOR THE ROOM NOT THE PARKING. WE DECIDED TO CHECK OUT AFTER ONE NIGHT BECAUSE IT WAS TOO STRESSFUL AND WE WANTED TO ENJOY OUR VACATION

  The only nice thing i can say about this hotel is that it is on the beach. it is old, rundown, and filthy. the rug and bedspreads were dirty and ...

  The only nice thing I can say about this hotel is that it is on the beach. It is old, rundown, and filthy. The rug and bedspreads were dirty and stained, the walls were so thin we could hear our very loud neighbors next door. "" Breakfast included"" consisted of a coffee machinem, juicemachine and prepackaged bagels. Our room was facing a restaurant (50 feet away) that was promoting ""Verizon"", they had a beach party all weekend which included loud hard rock music that played until midnight each night,To add insult to injury ""Verizon"" parked their large tour bus in the restaurant parking lot all weekend and ran the motor day and night.

• Great Beach..but Hotel ...

  1st off, we love daytona, we go there frequently..this was our first time stay in @ the super 8 and it will be the last..the lady at the desk ...

  1st off, we love daytona, we go there frequently..This was our first time stay in @ the super 8 and it will be the last..the lady at the desk was beyond rude, she told my husband that she hated ppl. that made their reservations online (knowing we had used travel agency!!) Also there is no parking what so ever! and if you have a bigger vehicle (I have a suburban), forget getting in the parking that they do have...
