    The room was fabulous..pillow top beds very nicely decorated, bathroom spacious and clean. Very quiet and comfortable. the hotel had mostly buffets, so if you just wanted a snack, your were in trouble. We walked over to gold coast and snacked and the prices there were very reasonable, we won there too so that didn't hurt at all! The Rio is a fabulous place to stay and play, I would go there again! We did the breakfast buffet and the seafood buffet and both were very good. How can you not have a ball in Vegas?

    I booked a room for one night on Travelocity. We were driving from Arizona back to the Pacific NW. The desk agent (Jerry) upgraded us to the Ipanema Tower 20th floor. It was a huge beautiful room. And for a great rate too. One irritation is that they don't have Wi-Fi at the Rio. I couldn't believe it. It sure had everything else.

    The room was spacious however the studios had a terrible layout. There was a window that looked directly into the bathroom which gave no sense of privacy. The particular rooms we stayed in had problems with the plumbing in the sink so there was substantial noise. Also, there was a leak in the bathroom.

    We liked the hotel and would stay agian but were disappointed that the pool closes for the winter on Nov 1st despite 80 degree weather. There was no mention of the pool closing during winter listed anywhere in the hotels write up.

    we had the best time ever the hotel was convienent to locations, yet off the strip so it wasn't congested with people. just right. i could of stayed there the whole time and still had a great trip. good food, great bars, auwsume shops, and a fabulous room we did upgrade for a view of strip but it was soooooo worth it. when we walked out of our elevator everthing we needed was there! great shower! great bed! big clean room! also front desk very helpfull. all and all the rio will be the place to stay in all our future visits. F.Y.I. free show ever hour on the hour down in the lobby super hot dancers!!!!!!!
