  I chose this resort/hotel BECAUSE of the reviews and it did not disappoint !! We spent a long weekend 4/22-4/26/09 and had no complaints about the room. Yes, it is a timeshare resort, but they are not pushy. The concierge invited us to the sales pitch (75mins) upon arrival and we declined, we were never bothered again. The room was a king with a jacuzzi tub and was wonderfully decorated. It had two bathrooms (one for the living area) and one for the separate bedroom, both had large showers. The two walk out balconies were fantastic. Our room was #409 and it had a fantastic view of the ocean from across the A1A. Staff was friendly. We would definitely stay here again. They have a sister property with all the amenties this one did not have and its located on the beach.

  Our one-bedroom, two-bath unit was spacious, nicely decorated, spotless, with a well equipped kitchen. Staff was friendly and attentive. A couple of maintenance issues were promptly corrected. Units are on the north and south sides with balconies providing 180 degree views. Best views are from 5th-floor up. Lower floor views encounter trees and the parking deck. Easy parking in the ground level lot and the deck. There was a large flat-panel HDTV in each room, but with no HD cable programming to use the wide aspect ratio screen without stretching and cropping, if you like that. A DVD player is in the living/dining/kitchen room. Wireless connectivity worked fine. As a vacation destination, there are activities scheduled every day, both in this facility and another Wyndham facility across the street and a couple of buildings north, on the beach. It's an ""ownership"" condo and Wyndham would like to tell you all about that, but they aren't pushy. We were never there during the day so didn't hear the story. We would definitely go back.

  I stayed at this hotel in the August and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. We had the queen room which included a balcony, full kitchen, sofabed, and a whirpool tub. The room was just the right size for two people, but would probably feel crowded with more than that. The bathroom was small but adequate with a glass door shower big enough for two. There was a small closet by the door, but most of the space in it was taken up with cleaning supplies such as brooms and mops. There was also a dresser with 4-5 drawers so we used that for our clothes. It was nice being a short walk away from the beach and much more peaceful than staying in Fort Lauderdale. There is also a coin laundry on each floor which we took advantage of the night before we left. If you are going to use it, be sure to bring quarters (it's $ per wash and dry) because they didn't have any change at the front desk even though someone said they would. I will say there were just two negative things about the stay, one being the fact that the floors in the rooms are tile, so if there is someone staying above you, there is some noise. The second thing I wasn't impressed with was the night help at the front desk. He spent a good amount of time on his cell phone and that left customers to play second fiddle and he wasn't very professional. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay.
