  I was a guest at The Tides this past week- and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful and stylish. The decor is very current, modern- yet warm and inviting. The staff went out of their way to see that all of my needs were met- and called me by name at every encounter. This hotel knows how to treat a guest properly- very professional. Maid service was more than twice a day- yet I never saw them- amazing. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who would like a restful vacation in the middle of busy South Beach. Food was great- and the Voss water was just what you needed after a day at the beach. I felt right at home staying at The Tides.

  The hotel was beautiful! We had a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, the staff were already waiting for us, taking our bags, greeting us with a welcome drink, and showing us the beautiful hotel. I think they cleaned our room everytime we left. Our bed was so comfortable, the view was great, the furniture was awesome, the bathroom was very unique. The bathroom was actually visable to the rest of the suite through a glass wall. This was the only thing my husband and I would change. The shower being exposed was no big deal, but having no privacy around the toliet was perhaps not ideal. The pool and the cabana area was right out of a magazine. The hotel reserves two chairs and one umbrella for you at the beach (this is included in your stay). The hotel also offers you free bottled water (take advantage of this). The cocktails are around $14, so you can run a bill up quickly. The food at the restaurant in the hotel was very good. This was probably the best meal we had while staying in South Beach. We stayed Sunday through Wednesday and checked out on Thursday. The nights we stayed were very quite and pleasant. My husband and I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking luxury and relaxation. I would not say this is a kid friendly establishment, certainly more adult oriented. The staff is so friendly and they will address you by name and open doors for you. I give this place 5 stars!
