  We were traveling thru Alachua, FL from Jonesboro, AR to Naples, FL when our van broke down about 3 blocks from this motel. We checked all motels in the area and decided to stay @ Econo Lodge. From the time we checked in with until we checked out everything was extremely superb. We had to get a part for the van and the closest parts store was about a mile away. One of the men in our party asked if they ever took breaks and left the premises. She in turn who loaned her car to to take us to the auto parts store to get the parts we needed. From the very first;Hello to the last Goodbye the whole experience was one of the best I have ever had @ a motel. Great motel & super nice staff. If I ever need a motel in that area again, it will be Econo Lodge, 15920 NW US Highway 441, Alachua, FL. Most sites place a cap of about 5 Kudos per review. However, for this review, a full tractor/trailer load would not be enough. Thanks, Crissy, Marilyn, & Linda, (the order we had contact with them) for making the world a better place & the motel experience such a wonderful one. You made our problems much easier.

  I have stayed here several times. Sometimes traveling alone, some with my wife and our dog. Ths staff are very nice and accomodating. They are truly ""Pet Friendly."" There are excellent areas near by to safely walk dogs. I have never seen a flea or any other bug in the place. We visit High Springs regularly and this is where we stay every time. I recommend to everyone and ESPECIALLY if you are traveling with a dog.

  The room was clean and comfortable. Everything in the room worked. The bathroom was large. The staff was friendly and helpful. Because the building is solid concrete, sometimes the highspeed wireless does not work. But, the front desk will provide you a LAN cable so you can direct connect, if need be. They have installed boosters to try and increase the highspeed connectivity. Breakfast selection was not much.. cereal, muffins, fruit, but is was adequate. Didn't use the pook, but, it looked nice and clean. All in all, it was a good experience and not a bad place to stay.

  The rooms were clean, everything worked, iron, iboard, tv, phone, all ok. staff was friendly and helpful. had trouble with wireless internet setup.
