  We stayed here for a week for our 25th wedding anniversary last week. We were very impressed. The staff was very friendly, always went out of their way to help in anyway, loved the bartender down at the bongo bongo bar at the hotel, he was very nice and talked to us, remembered it was our anniversary when we came in for a drink the next night. Our room was very clean and they upgraded us to a beach view when we got there for the same price,the main desk is who I talked to on the phone and she was very nice and polite, went out of her way, when we got there, she remembered talking to me, very nice lady. Food was always good here at the resturants at the hotel, we tried them all, loved Spinners on top, thats where we went for our anniversary, very good food! I would recommend this place to all our friends and family and when we come back we would stay here again too. Thank you Grand Plaza for giving us a great 25th anniversary week

  I went to relax and thats what i did, beach was clean, water was warm, sunsets were amazing. would i go back yes i would.

  The Grand Plaza is an outstanding property! The staff is simply fantastic Located right on the sandy white beach, steps from the water. One note to the wise... make sure if you bring your drink to your cabana, make sure theres not fruit or whipping cream... the seagulls love it when your not looking!! The room a super clean, some of the best I have stayed in.

  hotel was very nice our room was very bright and had a great view of the ocean, request a upper floor- we were on the 8th. Hotel staff was so nice- front desk staff excellent. the conceiere was full of suggestions. dining in the roof top resturant was neat but food was just ok.. but they have a new manager hopfully he can turn it around. This seems like an older hotel but for the money and location I would visit again. Close to tropcania Field- great place to stay when going to a game.

  When we booked this trip, we were told we would be in a city view room. To our surprise, when we got to the room, we had a beautiful view of the ocean and the sunsets. The room was spotless, the bed was comfy, and the hotel was quiet. The revolving restaurant looked a little pricey, so we skipped that in favor of the beach bar (Bongo's) which had tasty food and a great view. The staff were all going out of their way to be pleasant and they were always busy cleaning something everytime we walked through (vacuuming sand off carpets, cleaning the pool area). It was nice to be able to use the in-room safe without paying extra for it, and having a fridge and microwave saved us some money instead of dining out. The air conditioner worked so well, we had to turn the ceiling fan off so we wouldn't freeze to death. The only two complaints I have were that the pool needed to be skimmed more often to keep the bugs out and that you had to pay to use the computers in the lobby. Both were things that I could live without (who needs the pool when you have the Gulf of Mexico) so we didn't really care. This hotel totally exceeded all our expectations and then some.
