    great location. disappointed the pool was unavailable for 3 days. told that three off site pools were available to us. they did not inform the owners of said pools, we were humiliated when we were told to leave or pay for the use of the pool. we asked to speak with the LaConcha manager when we returned to the hotel. He failed to return our calls. the first person we met at the front desk was not helpful as well as the manager. the rest of the staff we encountered exceptional people.

    We really liked the Hotel alot. The location on Duval St. was very good. The hotel roof has some amazing views of all of Key West. Our room was small, but excellent, nice comfortable bed. The only problem with the room was the exhaust fan/ system didn't work, when I told the Front Desk, maintenance said the exhaust system hasn't worked since the last renovation. I found this odd to say the least. The only other problem we encountered was the resturant food lacked flavor and the service was slow the 2 times we ate there. Overall ,I will highly recommend the La Concha to anyone thinking of staying there. When we return to Key West we will stay at the La Concha.

    We have traveled to Key West many times and we allways try a different place to stay. La Concha is one of the best places we have stayed in. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room clean, and you can't beat its location on Duval St!! It is close to everything and if you need to rent bikes all you have to do is go out back to the parking lot. The pool is a little small but we never had a problem with swimming or getting a chair. The top is a great place to have a drink and see the sunset. It can be a little noisy, being right on Duval so I suggest staying on top floor. But when you go to Key West you don't stay in your room too much and usually get back late. All in all, I highly recommed the La Concha and if we ever run out of places to try we'll go back!

    Accommodations were great. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was well decorated, clean and roomy. Beds were wonderful; soft mattress, down comforter and pillows. Very convenient to have dinning on site. Especially liked having Starbucks off the lobby. We would stay there again. Only concern was $20 night parking - not advised when booked through Travelosity.

    We stayed there for two days and totally loved it. I initially thought the rooms would be antiquated especially since the hotel has been around for so long put was pleasantly surprised. The Good: The rooms were nice, clean, tasteful and very modern. The rooms appeared to have been recently renovated w/LCD flat screens in every room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating (got a pool view at no extra charge). Great view of sunset from their rooftop bar - without the crowds of Mallory Square (Open only for a few hours at sunset). Place is historic and is even part of the Conch Train Tour and is a walk to all the Key Attractions including Mallory square and the Waterfront Docks (don't miss the sunset cruise on the glass bottom boat, the trip is well worth the price!). As mentioned in other reviews, The rooftop pool was small but we definitely were not complaining. There were ample pool chairs and towels for guest use. The pool bar was a plus though open only for a few hours and a little expensive Check in and checkout is a breeze. A few minor irritants: Parking is $* a day (Though the staff tells you upfront and compared to parking elsewhere is not too bad). Cocktails at both the rooftop and pool are a little expensive
