  We stayed two nights. This hotel is ok for the money. Cheapest we could find in Key West. Could be cleaner than it was. The beds were comfortable and location was good to all points of the island unless you do not have a car. My suggestion is that they work a little harder towards cleanliness and clean the grounds up a little. Waffle House connected to the lobby, made breakfast convenient. Would stay again.

  So I stayed there for only one night so my review might not be the best thing to go by being that I didn't deal with anything for more then one night. However for the night I did stay there it wasn't really too bad. The check-in was quick and painless,the rooms were a good size for just two people and everything seemed clean. It was a little older but it seemed to be taken care of. Over all I didn't have any problems staying there and I probably would again. I wasn't looking for anything other then a place to lay my head after a long day of scuba diving and this was it.

  This hotel is an older sort of rundown property. They have replaced the furniture and carpeting, but the building is just dated. When I entered my room it had a strong aroma of perfume from houskeeping. I finally aired the room and the aroma was gone and the room did not smell bad. The room and bath were pretty clean. They have no breakfast and no public computer. The Wifi is pretty iffy and people hang around the office to use the Wifi. I have heard people coming to the office and complaining of smelly rooms. While here the guy next to me had water coming into his bathroom from the ceiling. Since we were on the top floor and no rain had occurred for quite a while I do not know the source of the problem. My room was fine. Key West is pricey, but hotel is grossly overpriced particularly between Xmas and New Years.

  TO SUM UP ARE TRIP, WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WITH OUR STAY OF 7 DAYS AT THIS HOTEL. ESP FROM READING PRIOR REVIEWS. WE STAYED IN ROOM 266 WHICH WAS RIGHT ABOVE THE POOL. IT HAS 2 BEDS, WHETHER YOU NEED 2 OR NOT. GREAT NON SMOKING ROOM. THE HOTEL IS ABOUT 3 MILES FROM DUVAL BUT YOU JUST RENT A SCOOTER, PREFERABLY FROM 'asap scooters", THEY WILL MATCH ANY PRICE..THIS WAS AWESOME FOR US BECAUSE WE HAD A BUDGET. THEY DELIVERED IT TO US, NO CHARGE. WE ENJOYED OUR RIDE INTO TOWN DOWN ONE OF THE MAIN STRIPS. GOT TO SEE LOTS OF STORES, BUSINESSES ON THE WAY TO DOWNTOWN. HOTEL HAS A VERY NICE POOL...WEAR SUNSCREEN! THERE ARE EVEN ROOSTERS AND IGUANAS(lLARGE ONES) THAT HANG OUT AROUND THE POOL AND IN TREES. THERES A WAFFLE HOUSE ATTACHED TO THE HOTEL. TASTE LIKE ANY OTHER WAFFLE HOUSE. IF YOU PLACE A TO GO ORDER, JUST MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING YOU ORDERED, PLUS UTENSILS. WAS SHORTED A FEW TIMES. OH, AND JUST A BIT OF ADVICE. DO NOT LEAVE THE AC SETTING AT THE LOWEST OVERNIGHT, WHICH IS 63. IT WILL FREEZE UP AND START MAKING A VERY LOUD NOISE THAT WILL WAKE YOU UP. WE LEFT IT ON 66. NICE AND COLD. BEDS WERE SO COMFORTABLE! BETTER THAN WHAT I HAVE AT HOME. ONE SUPERB PLACE TO EAT IS "BLUE HEAVEN". FIND IT AND GO THERE! IT WAS ALMOST A $100 FOR ME AND MY FIANCE, BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY. PROMISE!!! ORDER THE GROUPER AND THE BANANA HEAVEN DESSERT IS A MUST! MOUTH WATERS THINKING ABOUT IT. EVEN IF YOUR PICKY,DONT LIKE FISH. PROMISE YOU WILL LOVE. GREAT ATOMSPHERE! WE WOULD LOVED TO MOVE TO KEY WEST..IF WE COULD AFFORD:( WILL BE BACK THOUGH AND WILL STAY HERE.

  I will have to agree with the prior review. We took a shot at it and were presently surprised and pleased. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. We will definately stay there again! I told my husband that we needed to write a positive review for this hotel, because it was not getting the credit it deserved. Don't always believe what you read. Take chances, we did and it worked to our advantage.
